First tip today is Front-End Developer episode 4, Using AngularJS at Google with Rhys Bret Bowen, length 25:31.
Rhys from Google talk about how they are using Angular for internal systems. Straight from the horses mouth you might say… or something.

I also watched a short video, Technology and Friends episode 335, Bill Fink on Kinect for Windows, length 10:37.
This is some really cool stuff. The new Kinect for Windows is a great improvement from the old one and it’s amazing what you can do with it.
What you get for $199 (!) is a camera delivering full 1080p at 30 fps. It’s a 3-dimensional imaging device that give you as a developer an array with colors but also depth from 0,5 to 4,5 meters. It has body tracking, it will track six individuals from the previous two. It have body masking which means that you for example can remove the background without having a green screen. This also make it possible to print the image on a 3D printer.
Bill mention a couple of cool applications. He is working on a photo booth where you can select a background image. He also mentions Swivel from FaceCake where you can try on clothes without changing clothes.
Bill also mentions a recent hackathon the Kinect team arranged where they brought a prototype with a firmware that will register movements as close as 10 centimeters and track fingers and joints. With that you can as an input device for your computer when sitting at your desk.
This is so cool!
