Roslyn is getting closer and you will probably hear more and more about it during the coming months. .NET Rocks have another Roslyn show that I listened to last week.
Listening to this show I finally understand how huge Roslyn is and the changes it will bring to programming. Just think of this, you can write code that write code. Skynet anyone?
The version of Visual Studio that the Microsoft .NET team are using right now is using Roslyn. That’s significant. C# and VB.NET is now being compiled with a compiler built in C# and VB.NET. The first versions where built in C++.
I think this will be an exciting year in many ways.
