My experiment of One Hour A Day have started and as I mentioned in the introduction it will be mostly podcasts and articles to start with.

I have listened to Jesse Liberty’s Yet Another Podcast episode 60 about Knockout.js.

Jesse is talking with Steve Sanderson, John Papa and Jon Galloway about Knockout.js and client-side JavaScript programming. Knockout and other JavaScript frameworks such as node.js are some of the things I really want to look into.

Knockout makes it easier to create rich, responsive display and editor user interfaces. I’m spending most of my time in the business and data layers, or writing documentation and specifications so I’m way behind in the GUI department. Knockout is definitely something I will learn in the upcoming weeks.

They also mentioned Knockout together with WebAPI, upshot.js, node.js, Entity Framework and TFS, technologies that are now on my list.

The podcast gave a good basic understanding on what Knockout is and what you can do with it. There are also some links on where to start on the podcast information page.

It was 35 minutes so I also spent some time preparing the blog, starting to put together a list of things I want to do and so on.

I feel excited!
